Jharkhand News: Before the assembly elections in Jharkhand (Assembly Election 2024) are announced, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has made a big announcement. In Hazaribagh, he said that if our government is formed again, every family will be given financial assistance of up to Rs 1 lakh annually.
The assistance amount will reach the account directly under the DBT scheme. Chief Minister Hemant Soren was addressing the program organized to transfer the amount of Maiya Samman Yojana on Saturday.
The Chief Minister transferred an amount of Rs. 1000 each to the accounts of more than 13 lakh 81 thousand women of Hazaribagh, Chatra, Koderma, Bokaro, Dhanbad and Giridih. He said that the Jharkhand government is taking every possible step to make the weaker families financially self-reliant. Under the Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana, 45 lakh women between the ages of 21 and 40 are being provided assistance of Rs. 12 thousand annually. At the same time, more than 35 lakh elderly people above 50 years of age have been linked to the pension scheme.
‘BJP government ended government recruitments’
Soren claimed that today there is hardly any house left in the state where the benefits of one or the other of our schemes are not reaching. Attacking the central government, the Chief Minister said that they have ended government recruitments from the army to the railways and from Coal India to banks. BJP people are accusing our government of not giving jobs. The Chief Minister said, “We are continuously running recruitment drives for the vacant posts of teachers, scientists, forest guards, policemen and employees. It is true that government jobs are limited in our state too, but we have started many schemes to provide employment to the needy people.”
Chief Minister Hemant Soren counted the achievements
Chief Minister Soren listed the achievements of the Jharkhand government. He said that under the Guruji Credit Card Scheme, students have been given loans up to Rs 15 lakh at a cheap rate for higher education, steps have been taken like opening 80 model schools on the lines of private schools in the state. He said that the BJP, which ruled Jharkhand for a long time, had pushed the entire state towards misery. We have brought the system back on track to a great extent, but it will take some more time. Apart from ministers Baby Devi, Satyanand Bhokta and Deepika Pandey Singh, many MLAs were also present in the program.
