A farmer family will get the benefit of maximum one onion storage house only. Onion storage will be constructed (50MT) by the farmers.

Will get subsidy of Rs 4.5 lakh
On opening an onion storage house, a subsidy benefit of Rs 4.5 lakh will be given to the farmer. With this, any farmer will be able to open an onion storage house at a very low cost. Farmers in rural areas can also create their own local storage. The government is giving up to 75 percent discount on this. In such a situation, any person can open an onion storage house by investing only 25 percent of his money.
