Honda Dio Scooter: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) launched the new top-spec variant of the Dio moto-scooter in the domestic market. Honda has launched this scooter at a price of Rs 77,712 ex-showroom. This is the third offering from the company after the Activa and the Activa 125. However, as an alternative, scooters of other companies are also available in the market, including Hero, Suzuki and TVS scooters.

The company has introduced its Honda Dio in three variants, which are Standard, Deluxe and H-Smart. On the other hand, talking about their price, they can be bought for a price of Rs 70,211 to Rs 77,412. The company has started taking bookings for these scooters and their delivery will also start soon.
What would be new in this?
Although official information has not been given by Honda about this yet, but it is expected that some features of Activa can also be seen in it. In which smart key features like smart find, smart unlock, smart start and smart safe features (engine immobilizer which prevents it from starting with non-registered key) can be seen.
Honda Dio H-Smart Engine and Gearbox
This new scooter from Honda is powered by a 109.51cc single cylinder, air cooled, fuel injected engine which generates power of 7.73bhp and torque of 8.9Nm, which is paired with CVT.

Honda is in great demand in the country in terms of selling scooters, but there is no dearth of competitors in the market. It rivals scooters like Hero Zoom, TVS Zest/Jupiter, Suzuki Access.
