Hospital staff beat up patient’s family, police have not filed case yet

Prayagraj News: Doctors and paramedical staff have beaten up a patient’s attendant at Prayagraj Hospital in Uttar Pradesh. A video of the assault has also surfaced. The incident took place at Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital run by the medical college. The family had come from Banda to get the woman treated. The patient’s attendant had an argument with the doctor over showing the report. When the dispute escalated, the doctors gathered and beat up an attendant named Rohit.

Rohit was beaten up in front of his mother and other family members. Other family members who came to intervene were also attacked. The family that was attacked kept screaming and crying. During this time, there was chaos in one part of the hospital.

Attempt to snatch mobile phone
When a family member tried to make a video of the beating, an attempt was made to snatch his mobile phone. The elderly woman’s health deteriorated due to the fear of her son’s beating. This elderly woman had come with other family members to get her daughter-in-law treated.
