Karnataka changed syllabus, Devendra Fadnavis asked these questions to Uddhav Thackeray

Devendra Fadnavis On Uddhav Thackeray: Karnataka’s Siddaramaiah cabinet took two important decisions on Thursday (June 15). The first is the decision to remove chapters on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and Hindutva ideologue VD Savarkar from the syllabus. And the second is the decision to repeal the anti-conversion law.

BJP has made it a big issue. Political rhetoric has also intensified in Maharashtra. BJP leader and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis asked former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray why he is not speaking now?

Devendra Fadnavis said, “You can remove someone’s name from the book, but you cannot remove it from the heart.” You cannot erase the name of any person who has contributed to the independence of the country, but what does Uddhav Thackeray, who is with the Congress, have to say now? Will you (Uddhav Thackeray) accept this insult of Veer Savarkar? Will you settle only for the chair?

Let us inform that there is an alliance of Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP in the state and there has been a dispute between Shiv Sena and Congress earlier also on the issue of Veer Savarkar.

Rahul Gandhi mentioned
Maharashtra BJP Chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that all this is happening at the behest of Rahul Gandhi. He said, “Karnataka is showing what can happen by voting for the paw (Congress’s election symbol). Rahul Gandhi had made wrong remarks about Veer Savarkar during Bharat Jodo Yatra.

He further said, “Now he has finished the history of Veer Savarkar by telling the Karnataka government. Removed from there books. The conversion law was also abolished. People should see how bad it can be to vote for Congress.

What did Congress say?
Regarding the repeal of the anti-conversion law, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said that the previous government did such a thing which is against the constitution. We are changing this. On the other hand, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister HK Patil said after the cabinet meeting on Thursday that the cabinet discussed the anti-conversion bill.

HK Patil told that it will be introduced in the session starting from July 3. Primary and Secondary Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa said that the Congress had promised to amend the textbooks. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has continuously given guidance in this regard.

What is the matter?
According to news agency PTI, the Karnataka cabinet approved the revision of the textbooks of Kannada and social science for classes six to ten. Under this and the lessons related to RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and VD Savarkar have been removed.

It was also decided in the Karnataka cabinet meeting that letters written by former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to social reformer Savitribai Phule, former PM Indira Gandhi and poetry on Constitution maker BR Ambedkar would be included in the syllabus.
