Maharashtra: Ajit Pawar is going to send this leader to Rajya Sabha, final seal has been put

Maharashtra Rajya Sabha Election 2024 News: Elections are to be held for two vacant Rajya Sabha seats in Maharashtra, for which the last date for nomination is Wednesday (21 August). BJP will contest for one Rajya Sabha seat in Maharashtra and Ajit Pawar’s NCP will contest for the other. NCP has announced the name of its candidate. Nitin Patil will file the nomination on behalf of NCP.

BJP had given the second seat to Ajit Pawar faction by announcing the name of Dhairyasheel Patil. Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar will be present when Dhairyasheel and Nitin file their nominations. Dhairyasheel Patil has earlier been a big leader of Shetkari Kamgar Party.
