Mumbai Police takes action in the case of showing black flags to PM Modi, FIR against 14 Congress leaders

Mumbai News Today: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Maharashtra on Friday (August 30). During this, he visited the economic capital Mumbai and Palghar. During this visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had to face strong opposition from Congress leaders and officials.

Mumbai Police has taken a big action in this case. Mumbai Police has registered a case against Congress leaders and officials in the case of showing black flag to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Mumbai. In this case, Mumbai Police has registered a case against many Congress leaders under different sections of the Indian Judicial Code.

Congress leaders showed black flags
In fact, on Friday, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Mumbai, Congress workers protested by waving black flags. Congress leaders and officials were angry with the demolition of Shivaji Maharaj’s statue in Sindhudurg on August 26. They showed black flags to Prime Minister Modi on his arrival, accusing him of insulting Shivaji Maharaj.

On the arrival of Prime Minister Modi, Congress workers and leaders had demonstrated in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC). In this case, BKC police has now registered a case against Congress workers. During this demonstration, the police had to struggle a lot to stop the Congress leaders, the video of which has also surfaced.

Case registered against 14 Congress leaders
BKC police arrested Prime Minister Narendra Modi An FIR has been lodged against Congress workers for waving black flags and protesting on the arrival of PM Modi. Police have registered a case against 14 people including Mumbai Congress Vice President Pranil Nair, Mumbai Youth Congress President Akhilesh Yadav, Women General Secretary Sana Qureshi, Roshna Shah.

FIR under several sections under BNS
The police have registered a case against the Congress leaders under sections 223, 189 (1) (2), 190, 37 (1), 37 (3) and 135 of the Indian Penal Code. According to the police, all the accused were let off after being given notice under section 45 (1).
