Munawar Farooqui Controversy: Bigg Boss 18 winner and stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui is once again embroiled in controversy. He has been accused of using ‘abusive words’ for the people of the Konkani community of Maharashtra. Due to which the people of the Konkani community are protesting against him. He was warned that if he did not apologize, he would be ‘trampled’. After this controversy escalated, Munawar has now apologized.

Munawar Farooqui recently did a comedy show. In this show, he used abusive language while commenting on the Konkani community of Maharashtra. After which he is facing opposition. Samadhan, son of Shiv Sena MLA Sada Sarwankar, had said, ‘If Munawar does not apologize to the Konkani people, then this ‘Pakistan lover’ Munawar will be trampled wherever he is seen.
BJP leader Nitesh Rane had also warned, ‘This green snake has started talking too much. We have the home address of the person who made fun of the Konkani person. We will teach him a lesson soon.’
Munawar Farooqui apologized
After this controversy escalated, Munawar Faruqui has shared a video on social media. In this video, he has apologized to the people. He said, ‘A few days ago there was a show, crowd work was done in this show, where we were talking to the audience. During that time I said something about Konkan and people took it wrong. Some people think that I have said something wrong about the Konkani community and made fun of them, but it is not so. My intention was not to hurt anyone.’
He further said, ‘My job is to make people laugh and I don’t want anyone to get hurt because of me. I would like to apologize from my heart. I am sorry to those who felt bad.’
