‘My husband came on line’, why does Shilpa Shetty say this about Raj Kundra?

Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra is in the news these days. Recently he has spoken openly about his personal life and spirituality. Meanwhile, he was shown in a white turban, on which he was asked what was Shilpa Shetty’s reaction on his following Sikhism, to which he gave a very funny answer. Also said about Shilpa that she follows every ritual and has faith in God.

When Instant Bollywood asked about Shilpa Shetty’s reaction, Raj Kundra said, ‘She didn’t even know that at one time I was a borderline atheist. I did not believe in God. My opinion was that life goes on like this, with karma. When I became a little spiritual about Sikhism, she felt good that at least my husband came on line. She is happy, she believes in religion as per her wish. Follows all the rituals. I also follow Hindu rituals. But there is a sense of belonging and connection in Sikhism. That’s why I’m here.
