Lucknow: Suspicious death of 11 year old child who went to study in Gurukul, dead body thrown outside the house, stir in the village.


There was a sensation in Gariya village of Maharajpur police station area when unknown car riders ran away leaving the body of an 11-year-old teenager who had gone to study in Gurukul outside the house under suspicious circumstances. There was chaos in the family after the incident, while there is an atmosphere of anger in the entire village.

Laborer Narendra Kumar Dwivedi alias Pappu, resident of Garia village, who works in a private factory located in Ruma, supports his family through hard labour. Despite financial constraints, he wanted to give his children a better future by educating them.

For this purpose, he had enrolled his only son Divyansh (11) on April 15 in a Gurukul located in Alamnagar, Lucknow, where it was claimed to provide free Vedic education.

The miscreants ran away leaving the dead body outside the house

According to family members, Divyansh used to talk to his sister Deepika on phone every day. Both of them had talked on Tuesday morning also and the child was normal and happy. But on Wednesday morning a relative informed that Divyansh had fallen down the stairs and got injured.

The family members were preparing to go to Lucknow when at around 9 in the morning, Gurukul director Kanhaiya Mishra reached the village in a car with the child and left him at some distance from the house and fled from the spot. When the family reached the spot, the child was wrapped in a sheet and there were serious injury marks on his body.

Family members made this allegation

In an injured condition, he was immediately taken to the Community Health Center, Sarsaul, from where the doctors referred him to Hallett Hospital. However, by then the child had died. Family members allege that there were injury marks at many places on Divyansh’s body, and wounds like being burnt with a cigarette were also visible.

He has expressed fear of cruelty and misconduct with the child. On receiving information about the incident, ADCP Anjali Vishwakarma, ACP Chakeri Abhishek Kumar Pandey and forensic team reached the spot and collected evidence. Police has started the investigation of the matter.

Father cried a lot hugging the dead body

As soon as the news of his son’s death was received, Narendra Dwivedi, who was working in a factory, reached home, hugged his son’s dead body and started crying bitterly. He said that he had only one son and had dreamed of living his old age with his support. Had sent him to Gurukul for good and free education, but now he has gone away forever.

There is an atmosphere of mourning and anger in the entire village due to the suspicious death of the teenager. Sister Deepika told that Divyansh was very happy at the time of admission and was also promising in studies. Divyansh’s uncle Jitendra Kumar Dwivedi alleged that the child was brutalized and the culprits should be given strict punishment. He said that there were burn marks and serious injuries on many parts of the body, which deepened the suspicion of torture before the murder.

Police engaged in investigation of the case

The police is busy investigating the case and the post mortem report is awaited, so that the real cause of death can be revealed. In this case, the police have arrested the Gurukul director and his friend. FIR is being registered. and investigation team soon Lucknow Will come and investigate the entire matter.
