PM Narendra Modi Egypt Visit: PM after successful US tour Narendra Modi Arrived in Egypt on Saturday (June 24) on his two-day state visit. On the second day of the visit i.e. Sunday (June 25), he was awarded the highest state honor of Egypt in the capital Cairo. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi awarded the ‘Order of the Nile’ award to PM Modi.
Please tell that ‘Order of the Nile’ is the highest state honor of Egypt. The President of Egypt honored PM Modi with the prestigious award ahead of the bilateral meeting. Both the leaders signed an important Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during their meeting.
Visiting Al-Hakim Mosque
This is the 13th highest state honor that has been given to PM Modi by various countries around the world in the last 9 years. here before The Prime Minister visited the country’s 11th-century Al-Hakim Mosque in Cairo, which has been restored with the help of India’s Dawoodi Bohra community.
Bohra community had renovated the mosque
This mosque was renovated by the Bohra community and came to the public in a new form in 1980. The responsibility for this construction work was taken by Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin, the 52nd cleric of Dawoodi Bohra community and Mohammad Burhanuddin was related to India.
tribute to indian soldiers
After Al-Hakim Mosque, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Heliopolis War Memorial (War Cemetery) in Cairo and paid tribute to Indian soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice during World War I.
Earlier on Saturday (June 24), on the first day of the tour, Prime Minister Modi met Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli in the capital Cairo. It was Mustafa Madbouli who received PM Modi at the airport.
