Preparations for Shri Krishna Janmashtami are in full swing in Mathura, Kanha’s city is getting decorated before the birth anniversary

Janmashtami 2024 Celebration: Various programs of Lord Krishna’s birth anniversary will start from Saturday at Shri Krishna Janmasthan in Mathura, which will continue till Thursday next week. Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Samiti secretary Kapil Sharma and member Gopeshwar Chaturvedi gave this information. He said that this time the programs related to Janmashtami festival will be organized with the resolution of attaining the ancient glory and form of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi.

Chaturvedi said that the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna will be celebrated on Bhadrapada Krishna Ashtami on 26 August 2024 (Monday) as per classical norms and traditions on the birthplace of Yogeshwar Shri Krishna. He said that all preparations and arrangements are being ensured to make the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna grand and divine. In such a situation, full efforts are being made to make the Lord’s makeup, dress, decoration and arrangements of the temple eye-catching. Chaturvedi said that in accordance with public sentiments, this time the resolution of the birth anniversary will be ‘Regaining the ancient glory and form of Shri Krishna’s birthplace’.

The official said that this is the time when the people of Mathura and millions of devotees of Lord Krishna spread across the world have only one wish in their hearts that just as the resolution of the grand and divine temple of Lord Ram was fulfilled in Ayodhya and his consecration was done, in the same way, a grand temple of Lord Krishna should be built in Mathura at his original place and his grand statue should be consecrated there.

Lost and found camps were also set up near the birthplace

He has appealed to the devotees that the district administration has made arrangements for shoe racks and luggage racks on all the connecting roads of the birthplace, so they should leave their shoes, slippers, bags etc. at the place of stay. Because on Monday, entry to Shri Krishna Janmasthan will be from the northern gate located in Govind Nagar and exit will be from the eastern i.e. main gate. The official said that for the convenience of the devotees, medical camps and lost and found camps will also be organized around the temple and at the main places.
