The company has announced that it will launch its first family electric scooter on September 2. With this, Simple Energy will enter India’s largest scooter segment.
Till now, Simple Energy has been known for its performance-oriented electric scooters like Simple One and Simple Ultra. In these scooters, more focus was given on long range and fast performance. But now the company is bringing a new scooter keeping in mind such customers who want a comfortable and reliable electric scooter for daily use, office commuting and for the entire family.
Scooters can be equipped with modern features
The company has not yet disclosed the design and technical specifications of this scooter, but it is believed that modern LED lighting, digital instrument console, smart connectivity and many new features can be seen in it. Simple Energy is known for its in-house research and engineering, so it is expected that the company will use its new technology in this new scooter also.
Through this new scooter, Simple Energy’s aim is not only to launch a new model but also to reach out to more and more customers. Till now the company’s products were mainly in the premium and performance segments, but after the launch of the family scooter, it would like to attract a larger customer segment.
Will give competition to these scooters
After its launch in the market, this new electric scooter from Simple Energy will give direct competition to Ather Rizta and TVS iQube. Considering the popularity of these scooters, this competition will not be easy for Simple Energy, but if the company is successful in providing better range, attractive prices and modern features, then it can create a strong identity in this segment.
Simple Energy has been continuously expanding its product portfolio for some time. Recently, the company had also introduced Simple Ultra, in which emphasis was given on long driving range and modern technology. Now the company is preparing to extend the same technical experiences to its new family scooter, so that customers can get the option of reliable electric mobility with better performance.
