‘Terrorism is on its last legs’, PM Modi hits 3 targets with one arrow- families ruined J&K

PM Modi in Doda: The election campaign is being carried out vigorously by the leaders of all the parties for the assembly elections to be held in Jammu and Kashmir. In this episode, PM Modi also reached Doda to address an election rally. Here PM Modi, while addressing an election rally, targeted Congress, National Conference and PDP.

While addressing the public meeting, PM Modi said, ‘This time the assembly election of Jammu Kashmir is between three families and the youth of Jammu Kashmir. One family is of Congress, one family is of National Conference and one family is of PDP. What these three families have done to you people in Jammu Kashmir is no less than a sin.

Targeted for terrorism

Taking aim at terrorism, he said, “Remember the time when an undeclared curfew was imposed here as soon as the day ended. The situation was such that even the Home Minister of the Congress government at the centre was afraid of going to Lal Chowk. Terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir is now counting its last breaths. The change that has come here in the last 10 years is no less than a dream. The stones that were earlier raised to attack the police and the army are now being used to build a new Jammu and Kashmir.”

‘We will give Kashmiri Hindus their rights’

Regarding Kashmiri Hindus, PM Modi said, “Taking forward this trust of yours, Jammu Kashmir BJP has taken many resolutions for you. Today we have remembered Teeka Lal Taploo, paid tribute to him. It has been more than three decades, on this day he was martyred by terrorists. After his murder, an endless series of atrocities against Kashmiri Pandits continued. It is the BJP, which raised the voice of Kashmiri Pandits and worked in their interest. Jammu Kashmir BJP has announced the Teeka Lal Taploo Yojana for the return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus. This will accelerate the process of getting Kashmiri Hindus their rights.”

BJP will create a new Jammu and Kashmir

PM Modi said, “BJP is going to create such a Jammu and Kashmir which will be terror free and will be a paradise for tourists. Any person living in Jammu and Kashmir, irrespective of his religion or class, BJP’s priority is to protect your every right. This is Modi’s guarantee.”

He further said, “The BJP government will also do the work of giving full statehood status to Jammu and Kashmir. But you have to be cautious of such people who have been snatching your rights for their own selfish interests.”

A direct target on the opposition

Taking aim at the opposition, PM Modi said, “These days these people keep the constitution in their pockets. They are pretending to hide their misdeeds. Every child in Jammu and Kashmir knows the reality. These people had torn the soul of the constitution made by Baba Saheb. Otherwise, what was the reason that two constitutions were in operation in our Jammu and Kashmir? Why the people here did not get the rights that they got in the rest of the country? What is the reason that our hill brothers and sisters did not get reservation for so many years? In Jammu and Kashmir, they did not even take the name of SC/ST and OBC.”

He further said, “After so many generations, the BJP government has given them reservation. Today, there are many friends who have got the right to vote for the first time. The Constitution of India gives everyone the right to vote. But those who carried the Constitution in their pockets had snatched the right to vote from some of you for 75 years.”

A direct target on Congress

Attacking the Congress, he said, “What the Congress thinks and intentions are, is clear from the words of their president. He comes here and says that ‘if we had got 20 more seats, then all the BJP leaders including Modi would have been in jail’. Is this their only agenda?”

BJP will make Jammu and Kashmir peaceful, safe and prosperous

PM Modi said, “BJP’s resolve and your support will make Jammu and Kashmir peaceful, safe and prosperous. Therefore, on 18 September, you have to send all the BJP candidates to the assembly by winning them with a huge majority.”
