China Heli Strip on LAC: China has once again started plotting on the border. The Chinese army has built six new helistrips on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) adjoining Ladakh. This has been revealed through satellite images. The place where the helistrips have been built is present in Western Tibet. The distance of these helistrips from Demchok in Ladakh is 100 miles, due to which the danger increases even more. At present, there has been no response from the Indian government on this issue.
The Chinese army has often been building helipads or constructing structures near the LAC. In the last few years, it has also constructed many roads in this area. India has also increased its surveillance on the Chinese part adjoining Ladakh. Not only this, but after the clash in the Galwan Valley in 2020, India has also increased the deployment of troops here. Along with this, a strong network of roads has also been started to deal with China. India has also deployed many modern weapons here.
Information was also received about building a bunker near eastern Ladakh
This is not the first time that China’s dark deeds have been revealed. In July, news came that the Chinese army had excavated near Pangong Lake in eastern Ladakh. It was believed that it was building an underground bunker here, so that a strong shelter could be built to store weapons, fuel and vehicles. This secret was also revealed through satellite images. The area where the bunker was being built was lying vacant since May 2020.
China has Sirijap base in this area, where arrangements have been made for the stay of those Chinese soldiers who are deployed around Pangong Lake. The construction work of Sirijap base was done in 2021-22. An underground bunker was built here to store weapons.
