Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024: In view of the assembly elections in Jharkhand, Congress has released the second list of its candidates on Thursday (24 October). Names of 7 candidates have been announced in the second list. KN Tripathi is also included in this list. He has been given ticket from Daltonganj. Tripathi had earlier stood for the post of party president against Mallikarjun Kharge but his nomination was rejected.
Jharkhand Congress has announced the names of candidates for Pakur, Barhi Assembly, Kanke Assembly, Panki, Daltonganj, Vishrampur and Chhatarpur assembly seats in the second list. Names of 21 candidates were announced in the first list. Overall, names of 28 candidates have been announced so far.
Who gets ticket from where in the second list of Jharkhand Congress?
Congress has given ticket to Nishat Alam from Pakur assembly seat of Jharkhand. At the same time, the party has made Arun Sahu the candidate for Barhi assembly seat. Suresh Kumar Baitha has been made the candidate from Kanke (SC) seat. Along with this, Lal Suraj has been fielded from Panki assembly seat.
Trust has been expressed on KN Tripathi from Daltonganj. Sudhir Kumar Chandravanshi has been given ticket from Vishrampur seat. Along with this, Radha Krishna Kishore has been made the candidate for Chhatarpur assembly seat.
Names of 21 candidates in the first list
Earlier, for the Jharkhand Assembly elections, Congress had released the first list of candidates for 21 seats late night on Monday (21 October). The party fielded 5 women in the first list. Among the existing MLAs, the party has given tickets to Dr. Irfan Ansari from Jamtara, Badal Patralekh from Jarmundi, Pradeep Yadav from Podaiyahat, Deepika Pandey Singh from Mahagama, Rameshwar Oraon from Lohardaga.
Apart from this, Amba Prasad Sahu from Barkagaon, Kumar Jaimangal from Bermo, Purnima Neeraj Singh from Jharia, Banna Gupta from Jamshedpur West, Rajesh Kachhap from Khijri, Shilpi Neha Tirkey from Mandar, Bhushan Bada from Simdega, Naman Viksal Kongadi from Kolebira and Ramchandra from Manika. Singh has been made the candidate.
Apart from these, Dr. Ajay Kumar from Jamshedpur East, Munna Singh from Hazaribagh Sadar seat, Mamta Devi from Ramgarh, Jaleshwar Mahato from Baghmara, Sona Ram Sinku from Jagarnathpur, Ajay Nath Shahdev from Hatia and Jaiprakash Patel from Mandu have been made candidates.
Let us tell you that voting is to be held in two phases on all 81 assembly seats of Jharkhand. In the first phase, voting will be held for 43 seats on November 13, while in the second phase, voting for the remaining 38 seats will be held on November 20. Whereas, the results will be declared on 23rd November.
