Wife and daughter stabbed to death, son also attacked, hanged himself

Delhi Metro Supervisor: In Delhi’s Shahdara area, a father stabbed one of his daughters and his wife to death. After this, the killer father committed suicide by hanging himself, while a son is undergoing treatment in the hospital. This incident took place on Tuesday (May 16) at around 12 noon.

The accused has been identified as 43-year-old Sushil Singh. Deceased wife Anuradha is 40 years old, deceased daughter Aditi is 6 years old and injured son Yuvraj is 13 years old. There are deep knife marks in Yuvraj’s body, he has been admitted to the hospital. Yuvraj’s treatment is going on. According to the police, the accused had searched ‘How to tie knot’ on the internet before killing his family members.

The accused Sushil, who lives in Shahdara’s Jyoti Colony, was a supervisor in the Delhi Metro (DMRC). Sushil used to work as Maintenance Supervisor in DMRC at East Vinod Nagar Depot. FSL teams are inspecting the incident after reaching the spot. After inspection of FSL, prima facie it has emerged that the deceased Sushil killed the family members and later hanged himself. Police is further investigating from all angles.
