Will former Jharkhand CM Champai Soren join BJP? These JMM MLAs will also go with him

Champai Soren News: Before the assembly elections in Jharkhand, a big political stir is being seen here. Champai Soren is going to reach Delhi from Kolkata today (18 August). Talks are going on between Champai Soren and BJP. JMM’s Sameer Mohanty, Lobin Hembram and Ram Das Soren are the three MLAs in contact with Champai, with whom Champai Soren can go to BJP.

On Saturday, while talking to journalists in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi, Champai Soren had said on the speculation of joining BJP that he is where he was. He did not give any clear answer on this, but on Sunday morning he reached Delhi.

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren arrived in Kolkata late last night and checked into the Park Hotel. He met with BJP leaders late at night and is scheduled to depart for Delhi in the morning on Air India Flight 0769.

In response to the questions of the journalists, Champai had said, “We are where we are. We will tell everyone later. We do not know what news is spreading. We do not know where he is going or not going.” On the other hand, MLA Lobin Hembram had met Champai Soren, was there any discussion on joining BJP in this meeting? Responding to this, Champai had said, “The same thing happened with Lobin which is normally discussed. There was no discussion about BJP.”

Is Champai upset at being removed from the CM post?
Let us tell you that when Hemant Soren was arrested by ED on 31 January, he resigned from the post of CM and the command was handed over to Champai Soren, but when Hemant came out on bail in June, Hemant again took the command of power in his hands. It is believed that Champai Soren is not happy with this decision. Since then, there are speculations about him leaving JMM.

On the issue of JMM leaders contacting him, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma had said that no leader from BJP has contacted him. And Champai Soren is a senior politician. No one wants to make any statement about him.
