Yogi government’s big bet on reservation before by-elections, took this decision on outsourcing jobs

Reservation in UP: Before the by-elections on 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government of the state has made a big move regarding reservation. This move of the Yogi government has shocked not only the opposition but also the leaders of the ruling party who were asking questions till a few months ago.

Lok Sabha elections After the poor performance of the Bharatiya Janata Party in UP, many leaders including Apna Dal Sonelal leader and Union Minister Anupriya Patel, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya had raised questions on reservation in jobs in outsourcing. Now it is claimed that Yogi government is preparing for reservation in outsourcing recruitments also. The possible decision to give reservation in outsourcing jobs is also being considered as the end of the controversy arising out of 69,000 recruitment.

Minister Anil Rajbhar said that till now whatever recruitment was done was done by different manpower companies through the employment portal. Now, as per the intention of CM Yogi, department minister Anil Rajbhar is studying how the government itself should provide jobs to the people through the employment portal and there should also be a provision for reservation in it.

Other opposition parties including Samajwadi Party and Congress had also targeted the Yogi government regarding reservation. Akhilesh Yadav also used to target the Yogi government on many occasions in the name of questions from Anupriya and Keshav Maurya.

During the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the issue of reservation and constitution had caused a lot of loss to BJP. Now BJP is trying to do damage control on this issue. The party and the government are trying not to let the issues of reservation and constitution dominate the by-elections of 10 assembly seats.
