‘You are being so evasive…’, what statement of Akhilesh Yadav made Amit Shah angry in the House

Amit Shah reacts on Akhilesh Yadav in Parliament: The Modi government presented the Waqf Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. The opposition opposed the bill unanimously and created a lot of ruckus. During the proceedings of the House, a heated debate was heard between SP President Akhilesh Yadav and Amit Shah.

When Akhilesh Yadav was speaking against the bill, Amit Shah stood up and interrupted him and said that you cannot speak in such a roundabout way.

Opposing the bill, Akhilesh Yadav said, “This is happening as part of a well-planned politics. If all the power is given to the District Magistrate, then you know what the District Magistrate did at one place that its effects had to be suffered by the coming generations. BJP is bringing this bill to appease its frustrated, disappointed and a few staunch supporters.”

Akhilesh Yadav told the Lok Sabha speaker, “Sir, I have heard that some of your rights are also being taken away, so we all will have to fight for you too.” On hearing Akhilesh Yadav’s speech Amit Shah Interrupting him, he said, Mr Speaker, he (Akhilesh) is disrespecting the chair.
