BJP claims victory

The results of the counting of votes may not have come, but political parties have started trying to form the government in the state. Despite lagging behind in the exit poll results, the BJP has claimed to have got enough seats to form the government.

BJP leader Bhaskar Rao has expressed hope before counting of votes that BJP will win so many seats that it can form its government in the state. He said, the people of Karnataka have seen their deceit during the 30-year rule of the Congress party.

Congress is preparing

While the BJP has claimed victory, the Congress is preparing to form the government on its own. Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar, both veteran Congress leaders in the state, have single-handedly claimed to form the government. Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala also said on Friday that the Congress is going to form the government on its own in the state and it will not need to go with anyone.

JDS trying to become kingmaker

JDS, the third major political party in the state, has not opened its cards yet. If the situation of a hung assembly is created, then Kumaraswamy will once again become the most important. Before the results, he said, so far no one has contacted me. According to exit polls I am not going to have any role but need to wait for next 2 to 3 hours. I have no demands, my party is small.
