Former Chief Minister of West Bengal and Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee has made a big attack on BJP. She alleged that BJP is continuously harassing TMC leaders, but she is not afraid. Mamta Banerjee released a video message saying that if BJP wants to silence him then it will have to take his life. He also said that BJP is making every possible effort to suppress his voice.
This video of Mamata Banerjee was shared by TMC MP Derek O’Brien on social media platform X. Some people are pretending to be in TMC- Mamta Banerjee
Mamta Banerjee also expressed her displeasure over the leaders leaving the party. He said that trust is the biggest thing in politics, but some leaders are breaking the public trust. He said that those who are working against the party should take a clear decision either they should stay in TMC and work with the party or openly join BJP. If someone wants to join BJP, then go there directly, but do not work for BJP while staying in TMC.
By-elections on 3 Rajya Sabha seats of West Bengal
After the change of power in West Bengal, TMC is facing continuous setbacks. Many MPs, MLAs and senior leaders of the party have gone with the rebel group. Meanwhile, BJP has made former TMC MPs Sushmita Dev, Sukhendu Shekhar Roy and Prakash Chik Baraik its candidates for the Rajya Sabha by-election to be held on July 24. These three leaders have recently left TMC and joined BJP. By-elections are to be held on three Rajya Sabha seats of West Bengal on July 24. Both voting and counting will take place on the same day. Political experts believe that after the big victory in the assembly elections, BJP seems to be in a strong position on these seats also.
