Manohar Lal Khattar’s name was not on BJP’s posters, how much ‘lotus’ blossomed on the seats of his area

After lagging behind in the initial trends of Haryana Assembly elections, BJP made such a reversal that all the political pundits have stopped talking. Almost all exit polls showed Congress getting a bumper majority, but the trends are telling a different story. It is worth noting that during the election campaign in Haryana, BJP had completely ignored former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Neither his picture nor his name was written on BJP’s posters. Apart from this, he was also not seen in PM Modi’s road show. Let us know to what extent the lotus bloomed on the seats in the area of Karnal Lok Sabha MP Manohar Lal Khattar?

The trends are like this so far

According to the trends at 3 pm, BJP is leading on 50 seats, while the Congress alliance seems to be getting only 34 seats. Whereas, INLD and others are leading on three seats each. The thing to note is that when the trends started coming in the morning, at one time Congress was leading on about 60 seats, but with time the situation started changing. Now BJP has gained a decisive lead. Let us tell you that during the Modi wave in 2014, BJP had won 47 seats and this time it is still leading on 50 seats.

How many assembly seats in Karnal?

There are five assembly seats in Karnal. Their names are Nilokheri, Indri, Karnal, Gharaunda and Assandh assembly seats. Voting was held on all these assembly seats on October 5. According to the trends till 3 pm, BJP is leading in all the five assembly seats of Karnal. Let us know how much lead BJP has on which seat.

Such is the condition in Nilokheri seat.

Counting of votes for the 17th round is going on in Nilokheri. Here there was a contest between Bhagwan Das of BJP and Dharam Pal of Congress. At present, Bhagwan Das has got 77657 votes and he has got a decisive lead of more than 18 thousand votes.

BJP’s hold on Indri seat strengthened

A total of 16 rounds of voting are to be held on Indri seat, in which the 13th round of voting is going on. Here there was a contest between Ram Kumar Kashyap of BJP, Rakesh Kamboj of Congress and Surendra Udana of BSP. Here BJP’s Ram Kumar Kashyap has got 62564 votes. He is leading by seven thousand votes.

Lotus reigns in Karnal too

According to the Election Commission website, 16 rounds of counting have been done so far in Karnal Assembly seat and the counting of votes for the final round is going on. Here there was a contest between Jagmohan Anand of BJP, Sumita Virk of Congress and Sunil Bindal of AAP Aadmi Party. BJP’s Jagmohan Anand has got more than 90 thousand votes and he is leading by more than 33500 votes.

Saffron party’s dominance in Gharaunda

Counting for the final i.e. 19th round is going on in Gharaunda. Here there was a close contest between Harvinder Kalyan of Bharatiya Janata Party and Varinder Singh Rathore of Congress. Till 3 pm, Harvinder Kalyan has received 87016 votes and he is leading by 4593 votes.

A close fight in Assandh

A total of 18 rounds of voting are to be held in Assandh and counting of votes for the 16th round is going on here. Here a close contest is going on between Yoginder Singh Rana of BJP and Shamsher Singh Gogi of Congress. Yoginder Singh Rana has got 49585 votes and he is leading by just 2186 votes.

This estimate was expressed in the exit poll

Haryana’s exit polls were released on 5 October. In these, Aaj Tak-C Voter had claimed that Congress would get 50 to 58 seats. At the same time, BJP was shown 20-28 seats and others were shown 10-14 seats. In the exit poll of Republic-Matrix, Congress was claimed to get 55-62 seats, BJP 18-24 and others 3-6 seats.
