PM Modi Meets Japan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) is on a visit to Hiroshima, Japan to participate in the annual summit of G-7. PM Modi has gone to Hiroshima on the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. He met Fumio here before attending the G7 meeting and unveiled the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked the Government of Japan for giving him the opportunity to install and unveil the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Hiroshima. He said that we all should follow the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and walk on the path of world welfare. This will be the true tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

PM Modi further said that the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Hiroshima will further the idea of non-violence. It is a big moment for him to know that the Bodhi tree he gifted to the Japanese PM is planted here in Hiroshima, so that people can understand the importance of peace when they come here.
