Weather Update Today: The weather has changed in North India including Delhi-NCR. The weather is pleasant in Delhi-NCR since this morning (June 4). It is raining lightly with thunder. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rains on Sunday in UP, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and other states of North India. On the other hand, people are facing a lot of problems due to heatwave in Bihar and West Bengal.
Releasing the latest update, the Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and dust storm in UP, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh including Delhi on Sunday. Where the heat was being faced on the previous day i.e. on Saturday, now there is relief from the sky for the people.
Heatwave breaks 17-year-old record in Bihar
In Bihar and West Bengal, the heatwave has put people on their nose. According to the Meteorological Department, the heatwave in Bihar has broken the record of the last 17 years. Here on May 31, 2007, the temperature was 40.7 degrees. After which now the hottest day has been recorded on 3 June 2023.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Bihar is likely to cross 40 degrees on Sunday. Apart from this, the maximum temperature can reach 42 to 43 degrees in the next 7 days. During this, heatwave conditions will continue during the day.
Where will be the weather
Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in other states of the country, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Konkan-Goa on Sunday.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature is expected to be above 40 degree Celsius at some places of Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
Strong winds will blow with rain in these areas
Strong winds will blow at a speed of 30-50 kmph in Delhi’s Safdarjung, Lodi Road, IGI Airport as well as Loni Dehat, Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida.
Apart from this, Haryana’s Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar, Ballabhgarh, Sonipat, Rohtak, Kharkhoda, Charkhi Dadri, Mattanhel, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Kosli, Sohana, Palwal, Nuh, Aurangabad, Gulouti, Secunderabad, Bulandshahr, Jahangirabad, Shikarpur, Khurja, Pahasu With heavy rains, the weather is going to take a turn.
