The news of mixing urine in Lassi, which has been spreading rapidly on social media and some news portals since Saturday morning in Narsapur in Medak district of Telangana, has turned out to be completely fake. This sensational claim created an atmosphere of unnecessary tension and anger in the area, for which there was neither a picture nor a video, but after the truth came out in the police investigation, the whole matter was exposed.
People got angry as soon as the news spread
Actually, it was being claimed in viral news that a lassi seller was caught mixing urine in lassi in Narsapur market. As soon as this news spread, people became angry. However, the lassi seller vehemently rejected these allegations and lodged a police complaint against those spreading the rumours.
Police said- this matter is a complete misunderstanding
Narsapur Police Inspector Janareddy, while talking to ABP News, clarified that this matter is a complete result of misunderstanding. According to him, the person selling lassi was cleaning his utensils near the nearby drain before starting the business. At the same time, a 10 year old child present nearby started urinating. Some people, without understanding the true situation, assumed that the Lassi vendor had mixed urine in his utensils.
Due to this misunderstanding, rumors spread and the matter continued to escalate. The lassi seller himself took the child along to the police station and complained about the false allegations against him. The police interrogated the child and confirmed the entire truth and after explaining it to him, he was released.
The police have given a clear warning that making such serious allegations without verification is a legal offense and strict action will be taken against those spreading rumours.
