Weather Today: In most parts of the country, May started with rain due to which people were feeling cold. However, due to rising temperature for the last two-three days, people are facing severe heat wave. According to the data released from IMD, the temperature in most of the states of the country reached 40 degrees on Thursday (May 11). There is a possibility of an increase of 3 to 4 degrees in the temperature in the coming few days. Today (May 12), the weather will be clear in many states including the national capital. There is a possibility of increase in temperature in Rajasthan.

According to IMD, rain is expected in many states from Saturday, May 13 to May 15. However, no drop in temperature will be recorded due to this. The maximum temperature in Delhi on Friday (May 12) is expected to be 41 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 21 degree Celsius. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heatwave and thunderstorm in Rajasthan today. During this, the maximum temperature in Jaisalmer, Bikaner and surrounding areas can be recorded at 44-45 degree Celsius.
