Earlier, in the meeting on June 23, a final agreement was made by the opposition parties to unite and challenge the BJP-led central government. Now, after a detailed discussion on this in the meeting on July 14, a consensus can be reached on the name of the alliance and its national convenor.
However, this discussion has intensified even before this. In the Patna meeting itself, an important ally of the alliance gave a hint regarding the name of the alliance and its ally. If no opposition party has any objection to this, it can be formally announced after the Bengaluru meeting.
