NCERT Jobs: The Central Institute of Educational Technology under NCERT has issued a notification for recruitment to several contractual posts under different projects for the academic session 2026-27. This recruitment is being issued for projects approved by the Project Approval Board. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online till 30 July 2026 at 11 pm.
Interviews for different posts will be conducted between August 3 and August 7. The appointment of selected candidates will be completely temporary and on contract basis. They will have to work in CIET-NCERT, New Delhi. The initial appointment will be till 31 March 2027.
On which posts will there be recruitment?
Under this recruitment drive, appointments will be made on many posts related to technical and educational fields. These include posts like Senior Consultant (Technical), Consultant (Technical), Senior Consultant (Academic), Consultant (Academic), Data Analyst-Mobile App Developer, 3D Graphics Developer-Animator-Graphic Designer, Content Developer (Technical) and Programmer. The number of posts can also be changed as per the requirement of the project.
Who can apply and how much salary will they get?
Educational qualification and experience have been determined separately for each post. Candidates must have the required degree in the relevant field along with prescribed post-qualification experience. Experience of research, teaching, training, extension activities and content development related to school education will also be considered. The posts for which monthly honorarium of Rs 40,000 or more is fixed. Candidates claiming experience for those posts will have to present documents like salary slip, bank statement or income tax return at the time of interview. Whereas the experience mentioned during MPhil or PhD will not be used as experience. Selected candidates will be given a consolidated honorarium ranging from Rs 42,000 to Rs 1 lakh per month depending on the post. The pay scale has been fixed differently for different posts.
Keep these things in mind before applying
Candidates will have to apply online before 11 pm on 30th July. It will be mandatory for the candidates working in any government or private institution to present the No Objection Certificate issued by their employer at the time of interview. You will not be allowed to attend the interview without NOC. During the interview, the candidate will have to bring his original educational certificates, experience certificate, bio-data in prescribed format and other important documents. If the candidate has published articles, research, work script, story board, graphics animation, audio-video project or other work, then their samples can also be submitted.

- Go to the recruitment or vacancy section there and download the relevant recruitment notification and read it carefully.
- After this, after checking your eligibility, fill the application form as per the prescribed procedure and submit it before the last date.
