Shock to the dream of job in America! Bill related to H-1B introduced in Senate, know the provisions

Those who dreamed of going to America and getting a job there are in for a shock. Actually, a US senator has introduced a new bill related to H-1B visa in the Senate. The purpose of this bill is to ban the issuance of new H-1B visas for 3 years and to legalize the fee of $ 1 lakh imposed by the Trump administration. Although, This fee has already been canceled by the Federal Court. Trump’s Republican Party senator Tim Sheehy from Montana said that America should stop issuing such visas which are weakening the rights of American workers.

Why is H-1B visa necessary?

Know that the H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows US companies to hire skilled foreign workers for specific types of jobs. For these works, employees should be theoretical or technical experts. American technology companies depend on this H-1B visa every year to hire thousands of employees from countries like India and China.

Senator enumerated the merits of End H-1B Abuse Act

Senator Tim Sheehy said that the bill introduced by me, End H-1B Abuse Act, brings this program back to its original purpose and gives priority to American workers. This law closes loopholes that encourage misuse, creates strict security rules, and gives priority to our national security interests.

Recommendation to remove random lottery from the bill

This H-1B bill proposes to permanently introduce a salary-based selection system instead of a random lottery. Apart from this, the bill also has a provision to ban working at multiple places at the same time and third-party staffing-agency model.
