Constable Recruitment 2024 Last Date: If you want a government job as a constable, you can apply for these vacancies in this state. Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board had recently announced recruitment for 4000 constable posts. Registrations have been going on for a long time and now the last date to apply has arrived. Therefore, those candidates who are eligible and interested but have not been able to fill the form till now due to some reason, should apply now.

One can only apply for these posts online. To do this, candidates have to visit the official website of Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board, whose address is – jkssb.nic.in. From here you will get to know the details and further updates as well.

Who can apply for these posts

To apply, it is necessary that the candidate has passed 10th or 12th from a recognized board. This varies according to the post, details of which can be seen from the notice. The age limit is 18 to 28 years. Reserved category will get relaxation in age limit as per government rules. It is also necessary for the candidate to be a native of J&K.

How will the selection be done

The selection of candidates for these posts will be done after passing several stages of examination, such as written examination, PET test, PST test, DV round and medical examination. Only those who pass one stage will go to the second stage and the selection will be final only after passing all the stages.

What is the Fee and Salary

To apply for constable posts in J&K, general category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 700. The fee for SC, ST, EWS category candidates is Rs 600. Payment can be made online only.
