Indian Air Force has started the recruitment process for Group Y Non-Technical Medical Assistant Intake 02/2027. Candidates can apply online from 6th July 2026, while the last date of application has been fixed as 26th July 2026. Applications for this recruitment can be made only on the official website of Indian Air Force iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in. Air Force has not released the total number of posts in this recruitment.

Candidates applying for this post must have passed 12th from a recognized board. The candidate must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects and must have at least 50 percent marks. Along with this, there should be at least 50 percent marks in English subject also. If a candidate has done a two-year vocational course with these subjects, then he can also apply. The condition of 50 percent marks will be applicable for that also.

Candidates applying for this post must have passed 12th from a recognized board. The candidate must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects and must have at least 50 percent marks. Along with this, there should be at least 50 percent marks in English subject also. If a candidate has done a two-year vocational course with these subjects, then he can also apply. Candidates applying for Medical Assistant trade must have obtained at least 50 percent marks in 12th with Physics, Chemistry and English subjects. Also, there should be at least 50 percent marks in Diploma, BPharm or B.Sc Pharmacy. Apart from this, it is necessary for the candidate to have valid registration in Pharmacy Council of India or State Pharmacy Council. The date of birth of the candidates applying for 12th pass should be between 1st July 2006 to 1st July 2010. The date of birth of the candidates applying for Diploma, BPharma and B.Sc. Pharmacy should be between 1st July 2003 to 1st July 2006.

Candidates applying for Medical Assistant trade must have obtained at least 50 percent marks in 12th with Physics, Chemistry and English subjects. Also, there should be at least 50 percent marks in Diploma, BPharm or B.Sc Pharmacy. Apart from this, it is necessary for the candidate to have valid registration in Pharmacy Council of India or State Pharmacy Council. The date of birth of the candidates applying for 12th pass should be between 1st July 2006 to 1st July 2010. The date of birth of the candidates applying for Diploma, BPharma and B.Sc. Pharmacy should be between 1st July 2003 to 1st July 2006.

Candidates will be selected in Indian Air Force in several stages. First there will be a written examination, in which questions will be asked from English, Reasoning and General Awareness (RAGA). For every correct answer, you will get 1 mark, while for every wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks. Candidates who pass the written examination will have to appear for Physical Fitness Test (PFT). In this, you will have to run 1.6 kilometers, complete 10 push-ups in 1 minute, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats in 1 minute. Candidates up to 21 years of age will get 7 minutes to complete the race, while candidates above that age will get 7 minutes 30 seconds. After being successful in both these stages, there will be a medical examination of the candidates, in which blood, urine, biochemistry and other important health tests will be done.
