This is the reason why problems like cough, chest tightness, wheezing and breathlessness suddenly increase in asthma patients.

According to experts, pollution increases inflammation in the body as well as damages the cells, which can increase the risk of serious diseases in future.

Experts recommend that people pay attention to the quality of air before leaving the house. On days with high pollution, it is considered beneficial to cover the mouth while going out, maintain clean air indoors and avoid outdoor exercise. Especially children, elderly and asthma patients need to be extra careful.
