According to health experts, toothbrush should be changed every 12 to 16 weeks, i.e. about 3 to 4 months. No matter how expensive or good quality a brush is, after a certain time its fibers start losing their cleaning ability. If the brush fibers have already spread or twisted, it should be replaced immediately without waiting for 3 months.

Millions of bacteria and microorganisms are present in our mouth all the time. These bacteria and food particles are removed by brushing, but when the toothbrush becomes old, its fibers become weak and are not able to clean the teeth properly. In such a situation, dirt starts accumulating between the teeth, due to which bacteria can grow rapidly and the risk of infection increases.
