Delhi Romantic Date Cost: If you live in the country’s capital Delhi and want to plan a memorable date with your partner and also want to keep the budget low, then Delhi can prove to be a great place for you. Compared to big cities of the world, Delhi is much cheaper to have a romantic date. According to a report, Delhi has emerged as the most affordable city in the world for couples.
According to Deutsche Bank’s report ‘Mapping the World’s Prices 2026’, if you want to do a basic romantic date in Delhi, it will cost you only Rs 9,920 ($103). At the same time, if you plan a similar date in Geneva, Switzerland, which is one of the most expensive cities in the world, then you may have to spend around Rs 45,750 ($475). That means the cost of debt in Geneva is about five times more than in Delhi.
Geneva and Zurich are the most expensive cities
It has been said in the report that in terms of romantic date, Geneva, Zurich, Tel Aviv, Oslo and Copenhagen are included in the list of most expensive cities of the world. In these cities, the expenses on eating out, travelling, and other expenses are much higher than in Delhi. There is a city in Delhi which gives couples a chance to travel and spend time together at low cost. This is the reason why Delhi is considered the cheapest city for a romantic date.
Internet and house also affordable in Delhi
Delhi is cheaper than many big cities not only in terms of romantic dates but also in terms of broadband internet and property prices. The rent and property prices of 3 BHK house here are much lower than in foreign cities. However, a challenge of Delhi has also come to light in the report. The salary of people living in Delhi is very low in comparison to many big countries. This is the reason why despite low expenditure, Delhi lags behind in some parameters related to standard of living.
