The fifth round was to be held in Europe. Later both of them met in Geneva. Then the war started. In April Araghchi traveled to Islamabad, Musk and Moscow for a meeting with Witkoff and Jared Kushner, brokered by Pakistani officials. Apart from these formal visits, both also maintained a parallel channel through direct text messages.
