CM Yogi expressed grief over the Odisha train accident, prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured

CM Yogi on Coromandel Express Derail: Four coaches of the Coromandel Express derailed in Odisha’s Balasore district on Friday evening, after which a major accident took place. In this painful accident, 50 people have died and more than 350 passengers have been injured. On the other hand, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh regarding this accident Yogi Adityanath Has expressed grief and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. CM Yogi tweeted about the Odisha accident and wrote – “The train accident in Balasore, Odisha is very sad and heart-wrenching. My condolences are with the bereaved family members. I pray to Lord Shri Ram for the speedy recovery of the injured.”

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh to the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 2 lakh to the seriously injured and Rs 50,000 to those with minor injuries in the Odisha train accident. Regarding this train accident, Chief Secretary of Odisha Pradeep Jena said that many bogies have derailed in the Coromandel Express train accident, some bogies have been reported damaged, rescue operation is going on. Chief Secretary Odisha has informed that 132 injured in the Coromandel Express train accident have been shifted to Soro CHC, Gopalpur CHC and Khantapada PHC.
