The court has fixed the date of hearing on January 2.
SP MP Ziaur Rahman Burke had filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court to avoid arrest in the Sambhal violence case. But now Burke’s petition will not be heard before the winter holidays. After the winter vacation, the hearing will be held on January 2 in the new year. The hearing will be held in the division bench of Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi and Justice Prashant Kumar in Court Number 42.
Police can arrest Burke
Due to the Sambhal violence case not being heard in the High Court this year, MP Ziaur Rahman Burke will be in danger of arrest. Since no order has been passed yet from the High Court, the police can arrest MP Burke. An FIR has been registered against MP Burke in the Sambhal violence. He has been made accused number one.
SP MP Ziaur Rahman Burke has challenged the FIR in Allahabad High Court. A petition has been filed requesting that the FIR be cancelled. Along with this, a demand has been made to put a stop to the arrests until the final decision of the court. Burke’s petition states that he was not in Uttar Pradesh on the day of the Sambhal violence on November 24. He had gone to Bengaluru to attend a program. Even after returning to Bengaluru, he appealed to the people to maintain peace. The police have filed a fake FIR against him only due to political pressure.
