There is a demand that 73% reservation should be given to the people of tribal sub-plan area in proportion to their population. For this, a large number of rallies have been taken out in Banswara city of Udaipur division. There was also a meeting in which the demand for reservation was strongly raised and the government was also warned if the demand is not fulfilled.
Thousands of youths came out
This rally took place in Banswara city in which thousands of youths participated. There is such a huge strength in the demand for reservation here because there is a large section of tribals in support of this demand. They want that 73% reservation should be given on the basis of population. While leaving here, the rally reached the sports ground and a big gathering took place here. It demanded 73% reservation in jobs and promotions. Prof. Kamalkant Katara, advisor to the Central Committee in Maharaili, said that reservation is necessary on the basis of population to advance the tribal society.
Leaders of all parties on the same platform
After the Maharally, a Mahasabha was held at Khel Maidan, in which office bearers of Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress and Bharatiya Tribal Party were present sharing the stage. Former Parliamentary Secretary of BJP Bhima Damor, BTP State President Dr. Vela Ram Ghoghara, Deputy District Chief of Congress Vikas Bamnia were present. In this, those demanding reservation warned that if the demand is not met then all parties will be boycotted.
