Chhattisgarh News: These days diarrhea has wreaked havoc in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. More than 60 villagers of the same panchayat have been found positive for diarrhea, in which the number of women is more. In fact, during the investigation by the PHE department, the amount of bacteria was found in the bore water of this village. Due to which, with the onset of rains, the villagers kept falling ill after drinking this contaminated water.
Now the situation is that the number of positive patients from diarrhea has crossed 60. Some of these patients have been admitted to Dimrapal Hospital. Along with this, many patients are also admitted in MPM Private Hospital. Apart from this, the health department itself is treating the patients by setting up camps here. Due to increasing havoc of diarrhea in the village, Bastar Collector himself has visited this village, and has also ordered to conduct health test of each and every villager continuously.

In fact, in Sosanpal of Tokapal block of Bastar district, diarrhea is wreaking havoc for the last few days. Initially, 5 to 6 patients were found positive during the investigation, but after that the number of patients increased rapidly. Presently the number of patients has crossed 60. There has also been a stir in the health department due to continuous positive patients. Immediately after which a medical camp was organized in the village. At the same time, the seriously ill villagers were admitted to the hospital. Abha Rani, in-charge of the Medical Camp of the Health Department, said that at present the situation in the village is under control. All patients are being treated. Due to frequent diarrhea positive patients, the drinking water used by the villagers here was tested, in which more bacteria was found.
All possible help has been ordered for the treatment.
Because of which the health of the villagers was deteriorating due to the consumption of this water. Presently the bore has been closed. Drinking water is being supplied to the village through water tankers. Here, Bastar Collector Vijay Dayaram himself also visited this village and ordered all possible help for the treatment of the villagers in the medical camp. Along with this, the Block Medical Officer has also been reprimanded for treating the patients by making them lie on the ground. Orders have been given to arrange beds for all the patients, although the collector has said that the situation in the village is under control at present. It has been said to continue the treatment of patients positive with diarrhoea. At the same time, due to the continuous increase in the outbreak of diarrhea, there is an atmosphere of fear among the villagers. The surrounding villagers have also become alert regarding drinking water in the rain.
