Ghaziabad: CM Yogi performed Jalabhishek in the ancient Dudheshwarnath temple, interacted with Vedapathi students

Under the district tour program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Shri Dudheshwarnath Mahadev Math temple of historical and mythological importance on Saturday (July 18) morning and performed Jalabhishek, Dudghabhishek and special worship of Lord Shiva as per the rituals.

The Chief Minister prayed to Lord Bholenath, wishing for the happiness, prosperity, health and public welfare of the people of the state. The Chief Minister also offered flowers on the Shivlingas located in the temple premises and after seeing Nandi Maharaj, he offered flowers with reverence and inquired about the well-being of the saints and mahatmas present in the monastery premises. On this occasion, Peethadhishwar of the temple, saint community and devotees were present. The puja program, which took place amid Vedic chanting and praise of Shiva, filled the entire atmosphere with devotional and spiritual energy.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Had an intimate conversation with the Vedapathi Batukas and Sanskrit learners studying Vedas in the temple premises. While encouraging the students, he described the preservation and promotion of Indian knowledge tradition, Vedic culture and Sanskrit language as an important basis for nation building. The Chief Minister said that Sanskrit is not just a language but is the vehicle of India’s eternal knowledge stream, through which our cultural consciousness and spiritual heritage has been preserved from generation to generation.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister inspected the arrangements of the monastery and temple complex and accepted the greetings of the devotees present. On arrival at the temple, he was welcomed by the Vedapathi Batukas with recitation of Vedic Swastiva and shower of flowers. The Chief Minister also discussed various issues related to peace, harmony, cultural upliftment and public welfare in the state with the Sant Samaj.
