In the first edition of Shivpuran, the printing work of 5000 books has been completed. Now the work of binding of the book is going on fast. Geeta Press Management has decided to make the postal fee of the book free for the readers.

The price of a book of 1088 pages has been fixed at Rs 1500. Dr. Lalmani Tiwari, manager of Gita Press, told that Shivpuran is being published for the first time on art paper with more than 225 colorful Leela pictures. Earlier more than 22 lakh copies have been published in Hindi, Gujarati, Bangla, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Oriya languages. More copies have been printed in Hindi and Gujarati languages. He said that after Hanuman Chalisa, Shriramcharitmanas, Durga Saptashati, Sunderkand, Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta and now Chitramay Shivpuran have been printed on art paper.

The then President Ram Nath Kovind released Shri Ramcharitmanas and Geeta Tatvvivechani in the inauguration program of Gita Press centenary year celebrations. Postal charges are also not being charged on the books by Geeta Press. Lalmani Tiwari told that the list of minute to minute program has been sent to the PMO. The closing ceremony of the Geeta Press centenary year will be celebrated only on the arrival of the Prime Minister. He said that the pictorial Shivpuran will be released at the hands of PM Modi.
The postal fee of the book will not be taken from the readers. Geeta Press itself will bear the cost of reaching the readers. The manager told that with the arrival of PM Modi, the program of Gita Press will become historic. since independence Narendra Modi Gita Press will become the first Prime Minister to come to Gorakhpur.
