Stunting by moving car on Kedarnath Yatra route proved costly, Rudraprayag police issued challan

While on one hand lakhs of devotees are coming to see Baba during the Kedarnath Dham Yatra, on the other hand some people are doing dangerous activities on the yatra route. More than 1.5 lakh devotees have visited in the first five days of the Yatra, due to which the pressure of vehicles on the roads has increased significantly.

Meanwhile, a shocking incident came to light on the national highway between Tilwara and Agastyamuni. A youth traveling in a car with Haryana number was seen performing a stunt by coming out of the window of the moving vehicle. After this dangerous video went viral on social media, Rudraprayag Police immediately took cognizance.

Social media cell identified, immediate challan action was taken

The social media cell and traffic team of the police identified the concerned vehicle on the basis of the video and immediately took challan action. The police have made it clear that any kind of hooliganism and stunting will not be tolerated on the yatra route.

This action is a strong message that the police will adopt a strict attitude against those who show negligence on the religious pilgrimage route. This quick action taken by keeping an eye on social media is an example of police vigilance.

Appeal to devotees, dial 112 in case of emergency

Rudraprayag Police has appealed to all the devotees to completely follow the traffic rules during the yatra and take care of their own and other passengers’ safety. Avoid any kind of carelessness while driving.

Police have said that in case of any emergency, contact number 112 immediately. Police are active on the entire route to keep the journey safe and smooth.
