Students Ruckus In Maharaja College Arrah: On Monday, in Maharaja College of Arrah, female assistant professor of Hindi department, Dr. Shuchi Sneha was beaten up. The students pushed her to the ground and started beating her with kicks and punches. In this incident, the female assistant professor suffered serious injuries in many places including eyes, back, neck. After this incident, today on Tuesday, the second day, the college administration became strict in the first shift of PG examination, after which there was a lot of uproar there.

Actually, no candidate was allowed to enter Maharaja College with mobile, bag and guess paper, for this, every candidate was being thoroughly checked at the gate. Some candidates left their mobile and bag outside and went inside to give the exam, but some people insisted on giving the exam with bag and mobile at the gate. After the exam started on time, the students present at the gate started creating a ruckus, soon the police of Nawada police station also reached the college campus, but the students remained adamant on their insistence and started shouting slogans against the officials of Veer Kunwar Singh University.

The students remained in the college until the college administration announced the postponement of the first shift examination. The college’s in-charge principal Alok Kumar also reached the college gate for two minutes for talks, but could not calm the students and went back to the college. After this, the students broke the college gate and entered inside and tried to disturb the examinees by going into the examination hall, but the other students present there stopped them and sent them out.

Candidate Saneha Kumari, who was denied the exam, said that today we came to Ara from such a far distance to give the exam, but we were not allowed to enter the exam hall. They say that you people should keep your mobile, bag and guess paper outside. We have not studied in the college. How can we give the exam, some candidates have been allowed inside, their mobile and guess paper have not been taken, they are openly stealing. The college administration is torturing us. On the other hand, the students who beat up Assistant Professor Dr. Shuchi Sneha said that ‘On Monday, the students sitting in the hall were making comments and teasing us. When we protested against this, all those students went and complained to the principal. After this, ma’am snatched our mobiles and left the students’ mobiles. The boys were playing Bhojpuri songs. They did not take any action on our complaint. When we said that take the mobiles of all the candidates, ma’am twisted my hand and beat me. During that time, all three of us were beaten up.
