72% customers paying for COD orders with Rs 2,000 notes… Zomato did this funny tweet

The Reserve Bank of India has announced to withdraw the Rs 2,000 note from circulation and has given people time till September 30 to exchange it. After hearing this announcement, people have started panicking and are eager to exchange the Rs 2,000 note kept at home. Everyone wants to change the Rs 2,000 note as soon as possible. Everyone is using a maximum of Rs 2000 so that it ends before 30 September.

Meanwhile, food delivery app Zomato has made a funny tweet. Zomato tweeted and wrote that after the announcement of RBI, now 72% of COD orders are being paid by people with Rs 2,000 notes. That is, along with ordering food, people are also exchanging Rs 2,000 notes with this amazing trick. Along with this, Zomato has also made a funny tweet in which the company wrote that-

Zomato is going to start its own UPI

Recently it was reported that Zomato is starting UPI service which will make it easier for the users to make payments. Purpose of launching UPI
To make online payment easy for the customers. Till now it happens that people pay for Zomato orders through Google Pay, PayTm and other UPI apps, for this they have to switch to other apps. To make this process easier, Zomato is bringing its own UPI network so that people can make payments from the app itself.

For Zomato UPI, users will have to create a new UPI ID by entering bank details and pay from the Zomato app itself. Currently Zomato UPI is not available for all users and only a select few have this facility available. Soon the company can rollout it at the mass level.
