Former TMKOC director Malav Rajda defends Jennifer, dismisses allegations of abuse

Jennifer Bansiwal Accused Asit Kumar Modi: Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi i.e. Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal of SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is in headlines these days. Jennifer has come into the limelight after making allegations of molestation against the show’s producers Asit Kumar Modi, Sohil Ramani and Jatin Bajaj. Denying these allegations, Asit Modi and the team accused Jennifer of being abusive and unprofessional. At the same time, former TMKOC director Malav Rajda, who directed Jennifer for 14 years, termed all these allegations against the actress as false.

According to Malav, Jennifer is a happy personality who got along well with everyone on the set and all the departments. Be it the technical team, direction team, DOP, hair-makeup or co-actors, he has good relations with everyone. Malav said that I have been on the set for 14 years and during this time I have never seen Jennifer abusing or misbehaving with anyone. Malav also said that as far as claims are being made that she used to come late on the set, it never occurred to me that the show had to suffer because of her.

‘Jennifer used to do makeup herself to avoid delay’
Former director of the show Malav Rajda while talking to E-Times praised Jennifer and told that Jennifer used to do her own make-up sometimes to avoid delay. She used to have lunch with other actors on the shoot. According to Malav, no person will sit with a person whose behavior is wrong. But Jennifer’s attitude was friendly. On the other hand, on the allegations of Gurucharan Singh being sacked after leaving the show and Jennifer being pregnant, Malav said that it is a matter between the producer and the artist, which he does not know. Although they know that Jennifer wanted to work even during pregnancy, but showing Jennifer pregnant in the show without Sodhi’s character was a question before the producer.

Let us inform that Malav Rajda has been a part of the show for 14 years ever since Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was launched. But he left the show in early January this year as he wanted to explore other avenues and move forward in his life.
