Israel Hezbollah News: Iran-backed Hezbollah, an organization based in Lebanon, attacked Israel with more than 320 rockets and drones on Sunday morning (25 August). This increased tensions between the two countries. However, the Israeli army shot down all the rockets. There is no official news of any casualties yet, but media reports are reporting that some people have been injured.

Hezbollah claimed that it attacked 11 military bases in Israel. More than 320 rockets were fired at Israeli army posts. At the same time, a statement has also come from Israel. The IDF spokesperson said that more than 100 Israeli fighter jets had gone to southern Lebanon. The army destroyed all the rockets. More than 200 locations were targeted, which included 6000 rockets and UAVs. Israel claimed that Hezbollah was planning an attack with these 6000 rockets.

Emergency declared in Israel amid tension
In view of the war like situation, emergency has been declared in Israel. Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Galant said that emergency has been declared in the whole country for the next 48 hours. IDF spokesperson said that we attacked Lebanon to remove threats to Israel. The Defense Minister led this operation. Hezbollah targeted a military site in Ramot Naftali in northern Israel. Many people are reported to have been injured in this.

Benjamin Netanyahu gave a statement before the meeting
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called an emergency meeting. Before this, he said that Hezbollah’s rockets were destroyed. He warned that we are committed to protecting our country, bringing the people living in the northern area back to their homes safely. He warned Hezbollah and said, whoever harms us, we will harm them.
