About 25 people who entered the temple premises not only created a ruckus but also harassed the people present there. Local media reported that the people who entered the temple premises were members of the same church whose leader had opposed the installation of the statue. People who reached near the statue started worshipping according to their religion. When the temple administration threatened to call the police, these people ran away.

Hanuman ji is worshipped as the god of knowledge, power, courage and devotion in the Hindu community. On one hand, people of the Hindu community are reaching the temple for darshan, while some local fundamentalists do not like it. Due to this, there was a ruckus in the temple premises on Sunday. This statue has been made in the Ashtalakshmi temple at a cost of 80 lakh dollars.

In a short while, some of the protesters left, while some of the remaining people started asking if they knew about Jesus Christ. The members of the group stopped people and started emphasizing that Jesus Christ is the only God. The people who entered the temple told the children and some people who had come to visit the temple that they should not worship this idol. These are false gods, they will burn to ashes. This created a situation of tension in the temple premises.’

The fundamentalists ran away on the threat of calling the police
Kandala said that these people were stopped from doing so and told that we respect your God. We expect you to respect us. But there were many people who were not ready to accept and started arguing. On this Kandala said that he would call the police, after which the people left. Actually, on August 18 this month, a 90 feet tall statue of Lord Hanuman was consecrated in Texas. This statue is now the third tallest statue in America. This statue has been named Statue of Union. The statue of Hanuman ji has been built in the Shri Ashtalakshmi temple complex in Sugar Land.
