Sheikh Hasina Returns: Two days after Sheikh Hasina’s resignation and leaving Bangladesh, voices have started rising in her support. Awami League and its affiliated organizations have vowed to bring Sheikh Hasina back to the country with respect. After months of agitation in Bangladesh, PM Sheikh Hasina resigned from her post on 5 August and went to a safe place in India. Now a voice has been raised for Sheikh Hasina from Gopalganj district of Bangladesh. Awami League leaders said that they will not sit quiet until Sheikh Hasina is called back to Bangladesh.
Awami League workers gathered at the mausoleum of Bangladesh founder Mujibur Rahman located at Tungipara in Gopalganj district on Wednesday and vowed to call back Sheikh Hasina. This event was organized by Awami League district president Mehboob Ali Khan. Awami League workers gathered in large numbers on this occasion. District General Secretary GM Saheb Uddin Azam said that their movement will continue until they call Sheikh Hasina along with her sister Rihanna to Bangladesh. During this, flowers were offered at the mausoleum of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and tribute was paid.
Signs of Sheikh Hasina’s return to Bangladesh politics
Awami League workers have taken an oath at a time when Sheikh Hasina’s son Sajeeb Wazed has hinted at a return to Bangladesh politics. Releasing a video message, Sajeeb Wazed has said that he had said that his family will not return to Bangladesh politics now, but his workers are being persecuted. In such a situation, he is not going to sit quiet now. Sajeeb Wazed has appealed to the party leaders to stay strong, he said that Awami League is not over. It is the biggest party in the country, it is not so easy to end it.
Sheikh Hasina’s son wants a terrorism-free Bangladesh
Sajeeb Wazed said that ‘Bangladesh cannot become a democratic nation without Awami League. Addressing the party leaders, Wazed said that we are with you. Sheikh Hasina is not dead. We are Bangabandhu’s family and have not gone anywhere. We will make every possible effort to save the country. During this, he also said that whoever is in charge of the country, I want to tell them that we also want a terrorism-free Bangladesh. For this, we are ready to talk to anyone.
