In a letter to the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, Synod-Church of Pakistan Major Bishop Dr. Azad Marshall and several other Christian leaders said, “By coming as a state guest, Zakir Naik is making comments about Christians and their religion. .”

He further said, “Zakir Naik has created anger in the Christian community with his public addresses, as he has openly questioned the authenticity of our religion and also made inappropriate comments and completely false statements on our holy scriptures.”
